meeting at the sea shore

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GQ36NF4

countless days i have been
shore at the sea
and i have waited for you to accost
on my shoulders there have been seated
steps of unknown passers-by
screams of tireless seagulls
and a firm voice
sending me home
today it has been different
a path built from shells algae and wave
has started from the shore
and headed offshore
the woman coming from the sea...

Priya rated it 4.5 Stars

Priya
After reading 'Invitation to Poetry'
My expectations were high from this book. And this did not disappoint me a bit.
This is another quick and simple read. But the author really makes you wonder through this books. This book talk about places, live, nature. It's really wonderful. You really connect to the poetry.
My favorite ones are :
Fancy
Lonliness
Just period
Reciprocity
In the wind
Co existence
Brpwsing tbrough a book
Idea about thoughts
Kiss without words
Sentenced for execution
Tears
Author is really good with words without making it really hard and twisty unlike other poetry books. Author really lures you into this book.

coexistence

the light can coexist
with the darkness
this is how
sunrise and dusk is born
life can coexist
with death
and that is how
suffering and agony haunts us
only love
can coexist
with love only
and that is why it is
so pure

Loved it! Thank you Mihai for these beautiful poems.

Invitation to Poetry & Alignment of Thoughts by Mihai Brinas - Reshelved Books

https://fortheloveofdewey.blogspot.com/2018/07/invitation-to-poetry-alignment-of.html

Hello Dewey Readers!

Mihai Brinas, author of Invitation to Poetry & Alignment of Thoughts asked us to review his books of poems.  Being a poet myself, I COULD NOT WAIT to read his work.  Mihai's work is the encapsulation of thought provoking emotions and images. A few of my favorite poems in his Invitation to Poetry collection are: the healed healer, mathematics and love, no exception, & the work.

However, out of the two books, Alignment of Thoughts would have to be my favorite.  It just struck a cord with me that's hard to explain.  His words are beautiful.

If you're looking for a new up and coming poet to read, check his e-book out!  The only thing that would make me love these books more more is if they were in print.

I give them a total of 4.5 out of 5 Coffee Beans!

it was amazing

Short, emotional and relatable collection of poems that are easy to understand and even easier to connect with. Poetry is not a dominant genre these days and it is always refreshing to find such a beautiful oasis of thoughts and emotions that will shine through the stress and worries of ordinary busy day. You can read it within a break at work and yet get a full experience. Beauty of poems is in the imaginative ways the author paints feelings and stimulates thoughts about life.

“Invitation to Poetry” by Mihai Brinas is a collection of free verse poetry. Brinas combines everyday observations with deep introspection in each of his verses.
I really liked some of the concepts in this book and I enjoyed Brinas’ take on the mundane aspects of daily life. I think my favourite poem was the sadness of books which included the lines:
i leave taking with me
the sadness of so many books unread.

Trisha Book Review ~~ Invitation to Poetry by Mihai Brinas

I rarely review books for writers I’m not familiar with…and before you judge me…I’m not a book snob. I don’t review those books because I don’t want to have to write a tough critique. New author/writers should be encouraged and lifted up. Not torn down.  But this poet intrigued me. His poetry had something to say.
I agree with Mihai that poetry is forgotten and not read enough. If you feel the need for a little poetry, I highly recommend his books. The verse is not shallow and you may want to read a poem over a second time…but it’s certainly gratifying and worth the reader’s time.

Short, simple and direct, I find Mihai Brinas to be a wonderful wordsmith with the strength to bare his soul and passions. Sometimes we overlook poetry, but as one will see when reading each one, they are statements of life quietly flowing across each page, but with an unexpected impact on the reader.

I'm sure you'll be just as enthralled as I was by THOUGHTS THAT BRING US CLOSER by Mihai Brinas.

you whisper that i shall use
all the fury piled up inside me

i feel like a prey
trapped with lustful moves
i’m kissing you clumsily
and somewhat awkwardly
i’m trying to sneak
into you
in the end you tell me
that the beginning feels good
