genesis

the first rain

had its drops

in the shape of bells

which falling

with their noise

broke the silence

in pieces of life

and that's why

the first chiming of the bells

was named

the big bang

the poetry book

in the soul of a stranger

and where

whenever you open it

you will find with amazement

always something new

the birds get high in the sky
where nobody
can see them
how they get drunk
with the perfume of freedom
they still have that wild passion
to scream their pain out
where
nobody can hear them
this is how they have women’s innocence
to think
they have not been cheated on
this is how birds are
deceived to believe
they won’t ever forget to fly

contemplating the waterfall

the flowing water

sprang

from the heart of the mountain

sometimes calm crystalline

sometimes upset opaque

and it only stopped

on the edge of the precipice

there it stopped

scared by the power of heights

slept gently

in the arms of the mountain

loving and having been loved

then giving birth

to a child

whom they named

waterfall
